WHY GO ON A ROCKIES PHOTO TOUR?
Do your family members turn into professional complainers every time you have to stop to get out of the car to take a picture instead of passing by that perfect shot?
Are they all just interested in racing to their destination so they can engage in the Olympic sport of competitive poolside lounging all day?
Why not leave them all behind? Sorry, our tours are packed with laughter and enough jokes to make even the most seasoned comedian feel insecure.
And if your wife gets jittery about you heading out with a “hot blonde” in the group, just let her know that Pam’s profile picture is more edited than a Hollywood blockbuster and was taken back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. She’s practically an ancient relic now… but hey, all those centuries have turned her into a truly legendary teacher!
PHOTO TOUR REQUIREMENTS
The aim is to share laughter, exchange ideas, and cultivate a sense of unity with fellow photographers, embracing a mindset of gratitude when possible.
Few experiences forge connections as deeply as venturing forth with a collective, each equipped with cameras, ready to witness the grandeur of the untamed world. The air is thick with anticipation as strangers gradually transform into comrades, united by a shared passion. Our provisions are stowed for the journey, a shared endeavor that promises profound joy. As we immerse ourselves in the quest for nature’s wonders, guided by an unspoken reverence for Mother Earth’s splendor, it becomes an indescribable communion with both the wild and each other.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING ON A PHOTO TOUR?
Wide-angle lenses: – A must for landscape photo tours.
Telephoto lens: We will see elk and probably not much more wildlife, so one lens is sufficient.
Sturdy tripod: A MUST for waterfall, night and trick photography – Link to Pamela Goodyer Magazine Store
Remote shutter release: (not essential, you can use the 2-second timer on the camera.)
Neutral density and polarizer filters: Essential—Here is the link to Pamela Goodyer’s Neutral Density Filter article, which includes links to purchase her favorite filter. Most filters have a color cast, but this one does not.
Drone: If you have one. We will be outside the National Parks at certain times when we can fly.
Flash: We will do trick night photography, and you will need a flash. If you don’t have one, it’s okay. We have a few to share.
Alien attire… kidding, we’ll bring it for trick photography.
Extra Batteries and chargers, memory cards, and lens cleaners.
